According to Canadian legislation, we have to get people to consent to be sent e-mails before we send the automated e-mail. We can have a button that says Terms of Uploading or something. We'll also have an e-mail sent out when the person gives consent that includes the date it was confirmed.
By uploading material and filling out your e-mail address, you give Communote permission to e-mail you for the following reasons:
- Confirmation of consent of this agreement
- Giving you the link of each of your uploads
- Notifying you if your file is deleted
- Changes in this agreement
We won't sign you up for any annoying newsletters or anything. Don't worry :P If we need to change this agreement at any point, we'll ask you to confirm everything all over again
