Using triple mustaches and html symbol codes does not work

Hello!

Please look at the following jsfiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/3fcuaomx/

Triple mustache should insert the content as HTML.
But the first (top) example doesnt perform that.
It begins to work only when the real <br> tag is added (second, bottom example).

It looks like it validates, does the content really contain HTML, and echoes this content as HTML only in this case. But it does not catch html symbol codes (both decimal and hexadecimal).
