Looking for storage policy assigned to a virtual machine hard disk

Hi,

I am trying to fetch the storage policies applied to individual disks of a virtual machine. After researching, I tried pbmclient, and now I can retrieve all the storage policies. However, I am unsure how to associate these policies with the virtual machine’s disks.

Our flow is the following:
1. We use pbmclient to retrieve all storage policies configured in the vSphere environment.
2. We get the list of virtual disks attached to a VM.
3. We want to map each disk to its respective storage policy but are unsure how to establish this association.

Questions:
• How can we determine which storage policy is applied to each virtual disk of a VM?
• Is there a recommended way to fetch the storage policy associated with a specific disk?

Found that the QueryAssociatedProfile and QueryAssociatedProfiles methods provide this mapping. Created a govc example that outputs same as the UI screenshot: #3754
