details The database is activated via `configBaseDir()` which is used by debugging binaries, only (see PR #3948). Nevertheless, the EL binary providing `snap` will link against the `RocksDb` library. This is not a problem as the EL uses the persistent (as opposed to in-memory) version of the `aristo` DB.
