How to clear all previous messages in a buffer?

I ran a /list command on the liberachat buffer without a keyword to match, which makes it output a really long list of channels. Now it's slowing down the app, stuttering when trying to scroll through the messages.

A /clear command would help, just like the shell command clear; but I couldn't find anything like it.
