How do I update the plugin?

Download the latest release and replace the files in your PowerToys Plugins directory. Restart PowerToys afterward.

Can I sync my notes across devices?

Not built-in, but you can place your notes.txt in a cloud-synced folder and create a symbolic link.

Where are my notes stored?

By default, notes are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\PowerToys\QuickNotes\notes.txt.

How do I backup my notes?

Use the qq backup or qq export command to create a backup of your notes.

How do I restore deleted notes?

Use qq undo to restore the last deleted note. For full recovery, use backups or Windows File History.
