Why don't I see any logs?

I am new to SLF4J. I tried to "separate my concerns" and make this library do the logging in my app (which did the logging on its own). Here's what I tried

Unfortunately, I don't see anything in my console output. Why is that?

in the fact, this is not a problem with slf4j, because you are using log4j-slf4j2-impl, you can read the doc Configuration with YAML. Obviously, you need to add this dependency
