get_sector_performance_av returning Meta Data

It seems that lately the code - sector_df = web.get_sector_performance_av(api_key=ALPHA_API_KEY) is returning an error 'Meta Data' and I am not sure what that means. I also checked that my Alphavantage key is correct.

Kindly advise if you are encountering this issue as can't find a way how to go around it.

Issue confirmed. As you can see, https://www.alphavantage.co/query?function=SECTOR&apikey={ALPHAVANTAGE_API_KEY} (put your API key there) does not respond. The function "SECTOR" seems to have been suppressed. That's no longer mentioned in the support site https://www.alphavantage.co/. The last working response was on 2023-06-22. Current library is pandas_datareader 0.10.0 (2021-07-13), thus the function deactivation is intentional.
No bug, the service is down.
