- rtd module sends a POST request with the generated iab cateogories from the chrome ai api to a cloudflare worker, which stores collected iab categories by pubmatic user id (using the pubmaticIdSystem to get the uid, so gdpr, gpp, usp and all compliance is already factored into the logic). the POST endpoint also organizes iab categories for a user in order of the most frequent categories by count.
- next, a GET request is sent to the cloudfront endpoint from the rtd module to fetch the top 3 most frequent iab categories by user id (across all site domains that a user has viewed)
- data about the top 3 most frequent iab categories during a user's journey is added to the pb bid stream in user.ext.iab
