I think #15972 should definitely be prioritized as a Q1 goal for oxlint, at the least for the typeAware setting. Otherwise, users need to configure editor extensions for everyone at a company/on a project across various different editors. Controlling whether type-aware rules are enabled centrally, via the Oxlint config file, allows us to handle it automatically and makes adoption of type-aware linting a lot easier.
