US Playlist Missing Channels After 8/29 Update

Hello,

A lot, if not all, of the local channels (usually beginning with K) are no longer in the US region playlist after the bot commit on 8/29. They appear in the database and on the github.io index.

For example, KAEFDT2.us.
It is not present in a fresh copy of the countries/us.m3u playlist.

There don't appear to be similar discussions referencing entire blocks of channels being removed, though there might be a way for users to manually export from the database/use the API to generate the playlist instead of relying on the bot export.

The rules for generating playlists grouped by broadcast area have been changed: iptv-org/iptv#26208

Now all local channels are only included in subdivision playlists.

For example, in the case of KERODT1.us, it is:

As for KAEFDT2.us there is simply no link to its stream in the repository at the moment.

A small correction: during the last database update (iptv-org/database#20515), the broadcast area for the KERODT1.us changed to the specific city of Bakersfield, CA. So now it is included in the playlist:

Around 300 channels were removed from the US playlist and many had working streams up until removal e.g. Binge TV, WMPT-DT2 (PBS Create) and WKMJ-DT5 (PBS World).

Not sure which playlists to find these if at all.

So I have to add the individual playlist to Tivimate as opposed to the single US playlist?

It would great if the US main playlist can include all the channels for those who want it and then broken down to provider or state. It's a bit difficult now.

Ok. But shouldn't the MD and GA channels be in the country US.m3u playlist?

Ah I see. I have to say I don't like this, makes it unnecessarily complicated and confusing.

For e.g. Binge TV might be broadcasted from GA but it's a nationwide channel (on Dish Net.)

Perhaps consider having the option of the comprehensive country playlist for those who want it.

Why don't you make a playlist only for US locals? This is getting too complicated!
