Could be a temp flag or visibility glitch. Make sure your profile's public. Try linking to it from an indexed site to trigger re-crawl. If you have a site, request reindex via Search Console. Usually fixes itself with time. |

Hey @Zyrenth ! My profile also got deindexed, so you're not the only one. Even if I search for authors of very well-known open source projects, I may find some of their projects, but their GitHub profile does not appear. Not sure what triggered it and what fraction of users is affected. I hope it's just a temporary glitch. My GitHub profile was always among the first results when people were searching for my name, so I could always tell people to "just Google for my name" and they'd find my software. It's weird searching for your name and having a lot of unrelated stuff pop up and then perhaps have some of your projects listed further down. |

The same thing just happened to me — my profile as well as my public repo have been completely delisted from Google search. It’s really strange because one of my public repos used to rank #1 when you searched for “gelbeseiten scraper.” Now everything has been de-indexed. |

Hey @andrepxx !
It's unfortunate to hear that your profile got deindexed too, thankfully it's temporary and my profile got reindexed on all search engines around a month later. I don't know what triggers this and why it happens in the first place but it should resolve automatically by itself. Let's hope your profile will be reindexed soon.
