rustc 1.87 fails to build

Hi,

I am trying to build rustc 1.87 but it fails. Is there some extra steps required to build it, since it doesn't seem to build on current Solaris SRU version of cargo 1.78?
Need latest version for ClamAV software.

$ gmake publish

Caused by:
  feature `edition2024` is required

  The package requires the Cargo feature called `edition2024`, but that feature is not stabilized in this version of Cargo (1.78.0)

My experience is that if you have rust version 1.n.0 you generally can't build anything more recent than 1.n+1.0 -- so start by building 1.79.0 with the Oracle provided 1.78.0, and work your way up to the 1.87.0 that you need.
