I recall ran into the same, and resolved by (chakra-core/ChakraCore#1312)

sudo dnf install -y libuuid-devel lttng-ust-devel.x86_64  libunwind-devel.x86_64 libicu-devel.x86_64

This will be simplified in future when we merge chakra-core/ChakraCore#1331.

Good to hear that solved your first problem! (I don't understand why...)

I think we've run into your 2nd problem as well, not sure where to put a FAQ. Somehow build/cmake caches stale info prior to your install of libunwind. To work around, delete the whole build dir and try again.
