Enhancement proposal:

New mode for command "script" to generate a script for all pending migrations (similar to up)

Could be "migrate script" without version given or "migrate script up"

Sorry can you clarify what you mean by script?

What we need is that migrations could generate a script file, without executing it, almost what the migrate up command does, except:

• find all pending changes, some changes are coming from other git branches, with lower version than the current db version.
• generate a script that contains all pending migrations that are older than the current db version and the ones that are still to be executed, plus updates to the changelog table.
• script will be executed by db admins after review.
  I already forked the project, I will make the changes, document it, and send you a pull request for a review

@jollyblade Is this something you could still put together? There has been a ask to release updated version of migrations but there are no real changes in a number of years so I'm trying to see if we can get some issues addressed so the release actually is worthwhile :)
