This "mode line construct for miscellaneous information" includes global-mode-string and which-function-mode by default.

@luismbo are you still interested in submitting this? any chance you could confirm similar behavior with before and after screenshots? then I'll be happy to merge this change. |

Nothing in particular. Just something that shows no visual change or if there is, that it’s not a big deal. I wasn’t sure if the order of the modes and whichfunc would be different. |
