As Azure Linux Team announced, there are not going to be any software updates to Mariner-cm2.

This PR:

  • Stops Mariner-cm2 from getting build in the pipeline
  • Stops verification of Mariner-cm2 tags
  • Renames mariner directory to mariner-cm2

Good catch with the mariner dir renaming! Question: are we planning on keeping the historical mariner-cm# dirs in the main branch forever?

- bash: |

if [[ "$(distro)" == "azurelinux" ]]; then
REGISTRIES+=";msopenjdk.azurecr.io/internal/private/openjdk/jdk:$(version)-mariner"

I know there's aliasing involved here but just checking that this line is also correct (azurelinux label, referencing mariner registry).
