[BUG] Max. character limit server not honored #1394

Is there an existing issue for this?
- I have searched the issues (both open and closed)
Current Behavior
Unlike the official Android app, this iOS app doesn't honor the maximum character limit set by the Mastodon server of the user. It's always set to 500.
Can this please be fixed? Please check the Android app how they manage to display the correct number of maximum characters.
