[BUG] App crashes when voting on a poll

Current Behavior

When I vote on a poll, the app crashes. It still records my vote, however.

Expected Behavior

The app should stay open and function as normal.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open the app.
2. Find a toot with a poll attached.
3. Tap one of the options to vote.

Environment

- Device: iPhone SE 2nd Gen
- OS: iOS 17.0.1
- Version: v2023.13
- Build: 348

I have the same issue. Also sometimes when switching to my profile.

I am not seeing a crash, but there are reports that the vote button sometimes results in an endless spinner.
Current plan:

• Throw an error in one place where we used to silently return without resolving the spinner.
• Present any error encountered in the vote process rather than swallowing it.
