[Question] Stain normalization before passing through foundation models

I am working with .ome.tif pathology images and running them through multiple foundation models.
Do I need to apply stain normalization before passing the images to these models, or is stain variability already handled within the Trident pipeline?

Hi @kushaliitm, TRIDENT doesn't support stain normalization. When using recent foundation models, the added-value is unclear, and I recommend testing first without it.
