TAESD high quality previews for Qwen possible?

Noticed previews looks horrible when generating with Qwen image. Is there any chance of a model to support Qwen?

Qwen Image uses the Wan 2.1 VAE encoder, so the TAEW2.1 decoder also works for Qwen Image. Here's a quick test notebook.

It should just work with ComfyUI-bleh - it decides what previewer to use based on ComfyUI's latent formats which in this case would be Wan 2.1. If the fast previewer model is in models/vae_approx (ComfyUI's normal fast VAE/TAESD model directory) then it will get used automatically.

Can you please explain like I am 5. If I install the bleh/blepping nodes nodes do I have to use those nodes with a custom sampler to get it to work or will it just work with standard ksamplers? Also I don't know what the fast TAESD is. I have a whole bunch of TAESD safetensor files in vae_approx. Not a specific Wan safetensor in there that I know of.

No, for the previewer stuff you don't need any workflow changes or nodes from ComfyUI-bleh. It just replaces ComfyUI's builtin previewer internals.

You need to have ComfyUI's setting for the previewer type set to something other than none or latent2rgb (or in other words, auto or taesd should work). I believe auto is the default. ComfyUI-Manager has a way to set the previewer in its configuration options, otherwise there's also a commandline option.

You need to put the fast previewer models in your models/vae_approx directory. For Wan 2.1 (and Qwen which uses the same internal format) that would be this file: https://github.com/madebyollin/taehv/blob/main/taew2_1.pth

Like other node packs, you need to restart ComfyUI and then refresh the browser (or hit r to refresh nodes) after you install ComfyUI-bleh. Other than that, it should work. If you have problems with it (or questions), please feel free to create an issue in my repo.
