Wanted change

Please provide a browser extension for the Mozilla Firefox browser.

Reason for change

The only browser extension available is for Chromium-based browsers.

Just dug into this today. Firefox cannot happen.

There will eventually be a standalone server that is not tied to a browser extension this whole setup really is so auth is solid.

The problem with firefox is they force https fetches in the browser extensions if a TLD has ever given it an HSTS directive. Well that does not work when you need to hit an http port that is running its own internal encyption scheme for communication outside of normal tls termination with https. This is unrelated to the force https setting it is just an internal browser behavior and it seems that everything is agressively marked with CSP to upgrade everything to https.

The whole setup is so people do not need legit SSL certs to use this and so they can use it from just a bare IP. That is mostly why the ports are split to be quite frank.

Due to this core incompatibility with Firefox it simply will not happen, trying to explain to average users they need a legit ssl cert is like talking to a wall it is not worth it, we just went through months of people trying to put "https" in their URL bar, this would be a whole nother level.
