--vad silero is working fine on my side

@samhodge-aiml @AdityaKulshrestha can you please provide a way to reproduce this error?
What are you running and what is your version of whisper-timestamped? (it seems that you are not running the latest version).
And isn't there more info in the error stack before the RuntimeError?

A workaround could be to specify a given version of silero. For instance --vad silero:v6.0

Hi @Jeronymous

For me, I just restarted with the packages and their installation. The error was gone.
Someone suggested me it was due to ffmpeg installation.

As of now, it's working fine for me
