the 7mb version gives

worker sent an error! https://lichess.org/assets/hashed/sf171-7.601fb0e9.js:13: RuntimeError: Aborted(). Build with -sASSERTIONS for more info.

The 79 mb version gives

worker sent an error! https://lichess.org/assets/hashed/sf171-79.a92d68ac.js:13: RuntimeError: Out of bounds memory access (evaluating 'c(b)’)

and HCE has the same error but only in the browser console.

I tried clearing site data and in incognito, with same results. Changing engine memory doesn’t help.

this might be related to the macOS 26.2 update. I updated today and I’m seeing this error now.

Works fine in Firefox, I don’t have Chrome to test.

This is happening every time I finish a game or puzzle. I'm on Safari Version 26.2 (20623.1.14.18.4).

I have the same problem on MacOS and Safari, everything latest (Tahoe 26.2, Safari 26.2). Chrome works. This is a recent regression.

I've cleared all site data for lichess, but the error still persists. It affects both versions of SF 17.1, but SF 11 is fine. See attached screenshots for more details. The settings for the engine are the default (after resetting site data). It's a recent MB Pro, memory is not an issue.
