No color showing on Mac OSX

Hi I am on Mac OSX 10.6.8 and using sublime build 2181.

I installed this plugin, and when I tried git diff/git log.

it shows

--- something
+++ something
... text

which is nice, but all the files do not have the color intended (green, blue, red).

And I tried "Git: Toggle Annotations"

In plaintext, the color marks are shown correctly. but in ruby syntax, no color shows.

hi guys, we don't actually add colours but rather we add markers through language definitions. those markers are used by colour schemes to colour the window. if you're not getting colour, it's cause your theme doesn't colour our markers. I believe all the markers we use are ok with the default theme, so check you don't have a custom one that's missing some parts.

According to the guidance in the st manual it's best to use the common builtin scope names instead of making up new ones, since that will allow highlighting to work with existing color schemes. Perhaps these annotations should use the same scopes as the diff plugin?

looks like you're right, and I don't see git as needing it's own scope as it just deals with diffs anyway under the hood. thanks for the heads up, I'll reopen this.
