Instruction how to install the package to solve dependency issues #28

@aljanaki

Description

@aljanaki
  1. Create a virtual environment with Python 3.6.13 version using conda package manager:
    conda create --name musicnn_env python=3.6.13

  2. Activate your new virtual environment:

conda activate musicnn_env

musicnn is not to be found anywhere in conda repos including conda-forge, the easiest is to use pip in your activated conda environment:

  1. pip install -r requirements.txt

If you want to use musicnn in jupyter lab, make it available from Kernel menu in jupyter like that:

python -m ipykernel install --user --name musicnn_env

Put this into requirements.txt file:

audioread==3.0.1
librosa==0.8.1
musicnn==0.1.0
numpy==1.16.6
pandas==1.1.5
scikit-learn==0.24.2
scipy==1.5.4
soundfile==0.12.1
tensorflow==2.3.4
resampy==0.2.2
ipython==7.16.3
