Can't import SVG glyph

Attempting to import an SVG glyph, but after importing, the "q" does not contain any data. Is there an error with my svg?

Hi. Thank you for the report. It looks like it can be imported but size and placement seems to be off:

Is there something I can add as additional markup so that the size and baseline can be deferred from the import? It's positioned fine in the ViewBox, why would it be placed outside of any area on import?

I think you need to scale things down and make sure that letters have the right size and position before you import. Have you seen the glyph template:

I had not seen that, so I'm "hearing" that I should scale down my SVGs to fit this template rather than the software using the ViewBox information to position on the canvas. Ok, I'll see what I can do.
