@timja any chance of a release containing this?
we have been hitting apache/maven-war-plugin#596 and bumping to 3.5.1 appears to help the issue.
unclear if the underlying issue is fixed or not but codehaus-plexus/plexus-archiver#398 gives us about a 25% speed up in CI and a synthetic test attempting to reproduce apache/maven-war-plugin#596 completes in < 3 min that previously took > 9 minutes.
