Basically the title: Closing and opening photos too fast with the swipe gesture causes the ui to stay invisible on the beta timeline.

Reproduction steps

1. Have a beta timeline with multiple images
2. Open an image
3. Close it by swiping down and then quickly tap on another image.
4. Notice how the background is transparent.
