Connection reset error on 535mb video while using the android app

The bug

I'm using the android app, and it is not able to upload a video. In the Upload details, it seems to get to just above 50 percent, to then fail and restart.

The file is 535mb big, and the error I see is TaskConnectionException: sun.net.ConnectionResetException: Connection Reset

Reproduction steps

The file just stays as a Remainder for backup, don't know how else to reproduce it.

Usually this is a mis-configured reverse proxy. Please connect directly via ip and try.

Yeah, so it indeed it was a reverse proxy issue, and adding

"--entryPoints.websecure.transport.respondingTimeouts.readTimeout=300s"

this to the traefik command line did solve the issue for now.

cool, thanks. I switched to caddy (in my coolify setup) as a reverse proxy and it seems to be working now as well. thanks!

Just to whoever comes across this discussion: Immich docs explicitly mention this parameter

The most important is to increase the respondingTimeouts of the entrypoint used by immich.
