Hi @gtsteffaniak below are some follow up queries which I think was missed in the previous issue chain. 😅

1. Is there a way to make it such that upon every image pull all the settings toggled and accounts to remain saved persistently as I notice it will always get wiped for each new docker image pull.
2. The recaptcha any idea how it is supposed to work? After signing up only the TOTP is asked atm.
3. For the name it will only show up on the Browser Tab name and after logging in at the bottom left, is it possible to set it to display it at the login page?
4. As for the path to the photo, not sure if this works or I have to mount it as a different volume. Was attempting to use the /data and point it to my logo in /data in my NAS folder as shown below

5. Interesting as well it replaces the internal name. Also the version doesn't show up after I login (which is fine) although I am technically authenticated as I login as admin account correct not sure if this the expected "behavior".

6. Seems like as the administrator I'm unable to modify any of the created user's control if they have not sign up for TOTP as shown below but shouldn't be the case correct?

7. Also hmm I think the defaultUserScope and createUserDir doesn't work automatically also unfortunately as per OG FileBrowser's.

It seems only setting it under user management works.

Hi just chance upon a possible bug as well.

The Upload Chunk size option was at the default 5MB hence it wasn't taking in the setting in config.yaml or in:

Hi @gtsteffaniak I found that for User Defaults only disabling of settings works. All the settings as shown above does not seem to be executed whenever a new user is created. Eg: Dark Mode, Max Concurrent Uploads = 10, theme color.

Would be great if that can be fixed! 🫡

I can see the issue, this does apply for oidc and proxy users, but the apply defaults function never runs for password users for this setting. I will update as this is a regression

I see! Also the uploading seems to be slowed by the chunk update despite setting to 0 (disabled)

As for 1. on your issue , this is a database mounting issue. make sure you follow the getting started so you use the correct config and database option

Hi, yup it's matching. Although would only be able to test for the next time your update comes to see if it retains user creation hmm.

you have your config mounted /data/conifg.yaml but does your config.yaml use /data/database.db ?

Probably not which is why its not working, the default getting started guide says to use /home/filebrowser/data as your data directory.

If you are going to use a different default path for database, you will need to either specify that in config or via environment variables.

And your logs will tell you exactly where your database is and probably says something like creating new database with a path to the default location.

I see ok I did not know needed to add database: "database.db" to my config.yaml file

I now see the database.db file in my NAS files directory

• Also sure if the logs^ first line is normal for it to show could not be found but later show using "existing database"
