Description
NOTE This issue is reserved for our MLH fellowship program.
What article on docs.github.com is affected?
What part(s) of the article would you like to see updated?
We received the following feedback on this guide. When I double-checked the workflow, the dropdown appears as-per the procedural. However, it seems this only appears if you have at least write permissions to a fork.
No clear direction on where the fetch upstream button is..
It seems you need to update the instructions on this page to reflect the current site. This is not the only page I've noticed it on, but this one was particularly out of step, notably with the 'fetch upstream' instructions (web UI, step 2). I used the CLI which worked fine.
We should add an additional note or sentence to explain the expectation of who can see this. Something like "You can only sync a fork if you have write permissions"
