Agent mode and MCP?

I'm currently using Copilot in VS Code and considering switching to Neovim. Before doing so, I wanted to ask if the Neovim integration supports:

• Agent mode

• MCP servers

These features are important for my workflow, and I couldn't find clear information on their status for Neovim. Is this currently supported or planned for the future?

I've been using NeoVim Copilot and the inline completion works great and faster than VSCode. I too am waiting for Agent mode so I can go back to using NeoVim. Right now I have to open VSCode to use agent mode there :/

I hope this doesn’t offend anyone. If it does, I apologize.  Not to take anything away from this plugin, but codecompanion.nvim supports copilot and has agent mode. You can add mcp support with mcphub.nvim. This is better than switching editors while you wait for the features in the native copilot plugin.

I just tried CodeCompanion and this is what I've been looking for! It worked right out of the box and the documentation with the short videos makes it easy to read. Thanks for the suggestion!
