Your messages was flooded some where else and we had missed out your message. Can you help us to make an in app report so we can fix the issues as soon as possible? Besides that, you may try to reinstall the app and download the latest version of Lantern? By using the link below. Besides that, we had some users reported the same issues. It might be possible is your MacOS version is too elder to support our latest MacOS version. You may also try an alternative way to install older version of Lantern if that works for you. It would be great if you can share your MacOS version to me, then i can recheck with the technical team. Thanks again for your support! We appreciated it so much. Best regards, |

Hi Mike, the system is macOS 12.7.6 running on a MacBook Pro 2020 (Intel
chip). I have already reinstalled the latest version of lantern as
suggested, but the connection is still running very slowly. Actually, very
slowly; it even took minutes to open the Gmail. You previously mentioned
that it’s possible to use an earlier version, but I haven’t been able to
find a download link for any previous releases. Could you please send me
the download link for an earlier version? Thanks in advance.
Anyway, if the team is facing any technical or financial challenges, I hope
things will improve soon. As a long-term user, I sincerely wish to see the
software continue to get better, or at least not to get worse.

Dear Lantern Support Team,
I hope you’re well. I’m a Lantern Pro user since 2015 on macOS Monterey. After upgrading from version 7.xx to 8.35, I’ve run into serious performance and usability regressions that are impacting daily use.
Lantern has been part of my daily workflow for nearly a decade. It’s helped me stay connected through travel and remote work, and I’ve renewed Pro for almost 10 years. I’ve also recommended Lantern to friends and colleagues many times. It genuinely pains me to even consider moving away from a product I’ve trusted and appreciated for so long.
Key issues:
Usability: The new separate configuration window feels unnecessary and less convenient than the previous browser-based setup (via Chrome or other browsers).
App responsiveness: The app becomes sluggish shortly after launch.
Connection speed: Connections are significantly slower than in 7.xx. I’m unable to watch 720p YouTube videos without constant buffering.
Because of these problems, I had to purchase another proxy app yesterday to keep working. I’d much prefer to continue with Lantern, but I need a workable solution.
So, I'm wondering these requests can be accepted:
Please advise on fixes or workarounds to restore previous performance.
If possible, provide a way to roll back to version 7.xx (an installer link or instructions).
If these issues can’t be resolved promptly, please let me know the options for a refund or account credit.
