[bug]: Segfault starting on 0.4.44

Bug Description

Starting from Emdash 0.4.44, Emdash segfaults on open. Some kind of segfault in thread 0, based on what I could see from the stacktrace, but it looks like something deep in the Electron core. Any chance an electron update was pulled in recently?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Download recent version of electron
2. Open it

It shouldn't segfault

I tested both 44 and 45 last night - they both did it.
