Hi, I'm Dr. Dawn Foster 👋 🤓 🏃‍♀️

I'm the Director of Data Science and a board member for CHAOSS. I'm also on the board of OpenUK. I have 20+ years of experience at companies like VMware, Intel, and Puppet with expertise in community, strategy, governance, metrics, and more. I've been in a wide variety of roles over the years, including UNIX system administrator, researcher, community manager, open source strategist, consultant, developer relations, data science, and more. I've spoken at over 100 industry events and have a BS in computer science, an MBA, and a PhD. In my spare time I enjoy reading science fiction, running, traveling, and designing things for my 3D printer.
