It looks like this pull request may not have tests. Please make sure to add tests before merging. If you are not sure if you need tests, consider this rule of thumb: the purpose of a test is to make sure someone doesn't accidentally revert the fix. Reviewers: Read the Tree Hygiene page and make sure this patch meets those guidelines before LGTMing. |

If MakeBlend is allowed to return null, then we should change the API binding in canvaskit_api.dart to return SkColorFilter?.

Do we know what combinations of color/blendMode we support? The message would be more helpful if we could give the user more information.

The rules for which combinations are usable are implemented in https://github.com/google/skia/blob/main/src/core/SkModeColorFilter.cpp#L126
AFAIK Skia does not provide a concise summary of the valid arguments for this function.
