remove log colorization support, make some tweaks

• remove log colorization
• warnings now display as "warn"
• some effort has been made to make the columns line up (log level and type are now right-padded with spaces up to the maximum length)
• to reduce the need for padding, localconnect and localconnect-ip are now connect and connect-ip (but the old names are still honored in the YAML config)
