Would it be better to just churn some commands, in order to get the opposite effects?
for instance, the /OPER doesn't have a /UNOPER or /DEOPER, just in case someone needs it.

This should, technically speaking, be applied to some commands, like /op /deop, /voice /devoice, etc.

Belatedly, some of this is covered by #361.

Disabling one's operator privileges could potentially be useful, but we'd have to look carefully at all the potential implications (I think right now, the code assumes in various ways that an operator cannot stop being an operator).

For NickServ, I think having both /op and /deop, /voice and /devoice may be done by soooome software, if so we can just clone them probably. With /OPER in particular, the 'canonical' irc way is to /mode -o yourself and I'm not sure about the utility of adding a command like that.

note to self: look into the /umode alias that gets suggested for setting modes on yourself, see if it's a server-side thing or a client-side thing and if it's server-side look at adding that command to ora.
