Description
Streams will be released behind a Kibana feature flag in 9.1 - not in 8.x
Setting is available under the Observability section and off by default. Can be enabled per Space.
Once enabled, primary features are almost identical to Serverless
- processing (same)
- retention (same, but also support for ILM)
For screenshots, https://edge-lite-oblt.kb.us-west2.gcp.elastic-cloud.com/app/streams has it active now. If it's not there, turn it on in the advanced settings again.
ILM
- see data per phase
- set ILM policy for Stream (datastream) with 2 clicks (this is that new Elasticsearch API under the hood)
