some inline icons need more padding

Describe the bug

when I use the new icon syntax, there is no spacing after certain icons even though I add a space in text.

tested with the following:

{icon}`pencil`
{icon}`logo_vulnerability_management` 

• latter looks fine

Expected behavior

I get a space if I add a space

Steps to reproduce

4. Select **Create** to create a new policy, or select **Edit** {icon}`pencil` to open an existing policy.
