[Dev Tools Week Q1 2026]: allow jetbrains IDE users to open native term to (workspace-) pod

Is your enhancement related to a problem? Please describe

When using claude code (or any other cli based AI assistant) you need a terminal to your workspace pod. You'd prefer a native terminal as the one built into JetBrains IDEA is lacking when compared to it. It would be great if there would be means that do that for you automatically instead of you having to use a separate script.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like either a context menu item in the remote IDE that allows me to open a native terminal to the pod or the gateway app would automatically open a native terminal alongside the remote IDE.
