SG16 reviewed P3717R0 along with a draft of P3727R0 and CWG 2843 during the 2025-06-11 SG16 meeting. The discussion culminated in a recommendation to adopt the May, 2025 proposed resolution in CWG 2843. That proposed resolution incorporates the proposed changes in P3717R0. The author now intends to repurpose this paper to update the normative Unicode reference to a newer Unicode standard in a future C++ standard. I am therefore retaining the SG16 label and adding the needs-revision label.
