VSCode extension - shfmt support not working #1330

What steps will reproduce the bug?
Open a .sh file with VSCodium and then press CTRL+SHIFT+I. No modifications to the file content happen.
shfmt is installed through apt install shfmt (version 3.4.3-1).
How often does it reproduce? Is there a required condition?
It always reproduces.
What is the expected behavior?
The document should get formatted but it does not
What do you see instead?
nothing happens, no errors
Additional information
The mkhl.shfmt (1.3.1) extension works just fine with the shfmt installed on my system.
