Advice on Future Setup with HTPC #67
-
I am looking into setting up a HyperHDR/HyperSPI system with parallel multi-segments, and I am wondering how much RAM the software stack utilizes on a Raspberry Pi. Is 2 GB fine, or should I go with 4 GB? I am also curious if I can install HyperHDR on my home theater pc and directly capture my screen from that to control the lights with a HyperSPI setup. The Pi and the PC would both be connected to Ethernet, so minimal latency. I would like to just plug the PC directly into my display without any passthrough devices. |

Hi
It's possible to synchronize two HyperHDR instances: https://github.com/awawa-dev/HyperHDR/wiki/Quick-start#synchronization-between-different-hyperhdr-devices Or if your PC is the only video source then skip RPi comtpletly and use HyperSerialPico. |

Hi
If only HyperHDR runs on the RPi4 then even 1GB is enough.
