Restart makes all apps managed

When I trigger the command yabai --restart-service, the unmanaged apps become managed even if I've put yabai -m rule --add app=<APP_NAME> manage=off in config.
How can I make the rule work at each restart?

Place this command: yabai -m rule --apply; under all your config rule lines:

yabai -m rule --add app="^Finder$" manage=off
...

yabai -m rule --apply

This works for me and when yabai is restarted it considers my ignored apps correctly. Restart does not make finder managed. However, it does move any open finder windows to a random position, albeit in a "floating" state.

Make sure rules run (and are applied) before you set config layout bsp to avoid the "random position floating windows" issue.
