No Compatibility with S/4 Public Cloud and BTP ABAP Environment (ABAP for Cloud)

Hi,

I have pulled the repo via abapGit in my SAP BTP ABAP System but I get some errors during activation.
For me it seems like, the rep is not compatible with S/4 Public Cloud or BTP ABAP Environment.
For example, the call "CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_OUTPUT'" in clas z2ui5_cl_layo_manager is not permitted.
How to go forward here?

I will disguise the method call and intercept it if the function is not enabled.

Can I wrap a conversion exit to be used in ABAP Cloud?
No. In ABAP Cloud only ALPHA and ISOLA can be used. Conversion exits are problematic in general, more information is provided here.

Hi @Blieders, the fact that conversion exits in the cloud are, shall we say, somewhat limited is unfortunately the case. Even disguising this will not help. But the function should work both onPrem and in the cloud. So unfortunately you always have to do the balancing act between the two worlds.
Unfortunately, I was absent last week and only got back to the computer just now. I will finish the last adjustments and then provide an update. This should enable you to import.

You can already pull the "DEV" Branch for a quick fix.
