Shadows doesn't apply for fullscreen nor maximized windows with v25.11

Shadows doesn't apply to fullscreen or true-maximized windows (when focused outside those windows, but still visible).

On 25.08, it did that (well, fullscreen windows, true-maximized windows doesn't exist at that time).

I use shadows with window rules to highlight specific windows kind of as a warning that I'm looking at something else completely, so that I avoid being confused (e.g. mpv playing back screen recordings of my niri, usually in fullscreen too).

Now there isn't that anymore, it seems.

This issue exists even when shadows is enabled on everything.

Do you mean fullscreen as a full width window..? When referring to 25.08

Actual fullscreen (also covering bar and stuff) in both cases.

I should also mention that the shadow is visible when you're focused at a different window with the fullscreen window on the side, not focused on the fullscreen window. Words are confusing, see picture to maybe better understand
