Bug: Possible codec issue on mp4 recording #305

Quick Description
We have at least one report of issues with the playback of our mp4 in a windows system. VLC and Chrome worked, but the Windows build in player (for example did not).
Please check what codec we use per default and how common this is. We should provide something that runs out of the box on as much systems as possible.
Actual Behaviour
The video we provide could not be played on all players.
Expected Behaviour
The video we provide is playable on most commonly used video players.
