[Question] Android 16KB Page Size Support

Beginning with Android 15, the platform supports devices configured to use a 16 KB page size (“16 KB devices”). If your app uses any NDK libraries, either directly or indirectly through an SDK, you will need to rebuild your app to ensure it works on these 16 KB devices.

Starting November 1, 2025, all new apps and updates to existing apps submitted to Google Play that target Android 15+ devices must support 16 KB page sizes.

With that in mind, could you please let me know from which version of steam-audio library support for 16 KB page-size devices was introduced? In other words, which library release should I upgrade to in order to guarantee compatibility with 16 KB page-size devices?

@uzzu The current release of Steam Audio (4.6.1) is not built with 16 KB page size support. However, I will commit a change to the Android build scripts to enable this support, and it will be part of the next release of Steam Audio.
